Post 67 MGB GT for sale

Well, after sitting on the BGT I have had for over 3 years, I decided it was time to get it running and move it out. I have always wanted one; bought this one from Mark Lewellen because it was a one owner car in very original condition, but I have too many other things that are taking up space...
Here is the list of things I have done to it:

New front brake calipers/pads/stainless hoses.
New rear stainless hose; new hand brake cable (still needs some adjusting)
All old fluid flushed out and replaced with DOT 4. (have old front calipers if someone wanted those for rebuilding)
New Clutch Master/Slave/Hose; new HD disk with roller throwout bearing. Pressure plate and flywheel OK
New fan belt/thermostat/thermostat housing/rad cap. Radiator repaired and cleaned
New Hoses/clamps; new heater valve
New valve cover gasket/ new oil filler cap
Carbs overhauled/ new air filters/ fuel pump rebuilt/ new fuel sender float
New flex oil line
New motor mounts and trans mounts
New U-joints
Distributor disassembled/cleaned and lubed/ new points/condenser/internal wire
New plugs
New turn signal flasher; has a good battery (not brand new) with new battery cable to solenoid
Oil and filter changed/Castrol 20W50 with zinc additive
Trans and diff lube changed
Tires and tubes are used(lots of tread) with 2009 date codes on them on the original wires wheels, with spare and original style jack and thor hammer

The car starts great hot or cold and runs like stink! The speedo reads about 10% high and the tach seems high as well (haven't checked that against a meter)

The paint and interior are original; paint is not too bad, interior has a lot of patina. The headliner was crumbling, so I took it down and painted with roof with black rust encapsulator paint.
Both front wings have rust outs in the bottom, with the usual rust at the dog leg in front of the rear wheels. Other than that, the floors are great, the boot is great.
All the lights work, except for the high beam indicator; I took it out to use for the generator light. All windows go up and down/in and out. The rear hatch stays up by itself.

NADA classic shows a "low" value of $8,750; I am asking $4,900.
If interested call/text me at 417-598-4088 or email me at
I have plenty of photos I can send you that show the front wing rust up close; the Moss "lower" panel for $60 will fix both sides
