Is there anyone around Springfield who can bubble-flare an hydraulic line? I have a replacement clutch cylinder pipe that needs to be shortened and re-flared.

Thanks Joe. I really should learn to do this myself. FleetPride, which took over Springfield Brake Co., seems to be reducing their scope of services in favor of heavy-duty truck and trailer service. When I talked to them about overhauling brake cylinders they said they were out sourcing to a machine shop in St. Clair. Perhaps they are trying to cut down on the small odd jobs coming in off the street.
