Car Drive - April 18, 2026

A car drive has been planned for Saturday, April 18. Meet at the Maverik at 4996 MO-125, Rogersville, MO 65742 (corner of 125 and US-60) at 9:30am - departure will be at 9:45.

The owner of the Laketime Pizza and Pub in Protem said they would be happy to have us stop there for lunch - they open at 11:00. It should take about 1 hr 20 mins to get to Laketime from the Maverik.

The Peel Ferry to Arkansas runs about every 20 minutes, and there is no charge. According to the information I found, it will carry six cars at a time.

The end point is at Lambert's to give people an idea of how many miles/how long the drive would take, but once we get back to 65, everyone will be on their own to get home (or wherever you want to go). Total time back to Lambert's is 3 hr 19 mins, plus lunch, plus waiting for the ferry and gathering on the Arkansas side - so ETA back to Ozark would probably be around 3-4pm.
