Thunder in the Ozarks - A Day at the Races - Sat, Oct 10, 2026

Arrangements are underway for a drive to the Ozarks International Raceway, Gravois Mills, MO. The raceway has a 3.97 mile circuit featuring 19 challenging turns and nearly 1200 ft of elevation change per lap! Our club has the opportunity to take our cars for a lap around the track! Registration will begin at 10:00am, followed by a training session at 11:00, and time on the track at noon. Cost to race will be $35, plus entry fee at the gate of $10-15 (to be confirmed).

Springfield Veterans Parade - Sat, November 7, 2026

GOBMC has been invited to participate in the parade. Watch for more information as we get closer to the date!

Trunk or Treat - Thu, Oct 29, 2026

Members are invited to bring their British cars to the Grace United Methodist Church, 600 Jefferson Ave, Springfield, for a Trunk or Treat for the children. The church will provide the candy. Please contact Jim McCraw to participate. 417-848-3773 or mgman@ipa.net.

Election of 2027 Officers

The Holiday Party/December Meeting will be held on December 5. The meeting will include election of officers for 2027.

Treasurer
Vice President Communications
Vice President Membership
Activities Chairman

We are also looking for a Car Show Committee Chairman for next year.
